I am the commissioner in a hockey pool and got a mini controvesy brewing in my league.

The problem is that a player dropped Ryan Getzlaf and M. Green onto the waiver wire for pick ups like C.Kelly and Bachman.

Some of the teams are complaining that players of this calibers cannot be just dropped, and I do agree as it does compromise the league and will impact the standings, as its a points league (non-keeper). Further the team would of gotten a lot higher compensation from other teams if they went the trade route. There is a league vote system to allow all trades to be processed and passed by all league membersto keep them fair.

On the other hand I dont want to set a precedent of now on Waiver wires and dictate who they can drop. Would love to get your opinion on this.
