Tuesday's Injury Updates - Nugent-Hopkins, Laich, E.Kane...
Uh-oh... Ryan Nugent-Hopkins took a shoulder check last night and left the game early, could he have possibly re-aggravated the should injury that cost him 13 games and which he just returned from on Saturday?
SIDNEY CROSBY IS PRACTICING!!!
The knee injured suffered by Brooks Laich on Sunday doesn't seem to be slowing him down as he took the morning skate today and I guess he could play tonight.
Chris Higgins is out with another staph infection, his third in the past year or so... not sure how long this will keep him out.
The CBJs are hoping to get James Wisniewski (ankle) and Nikita Nikitin (knee) back in the next week or so... that's good news for their... ummm.... actually bad news for their lottery position.
Both Evander Kane & Danny Briere are possibilities to return from concussions tonight... if not now then soon.
Returning to action from the injured list last night: Tom Gilbert.

Briere
Just as a bit of an update…I read that Briere is playing tonight via Broad Street Hockey.
my guess would be only in a keeper at this point, but this is Edmonton we’re talking about so he may suit up again to take a run at the Calder.

there might be better options on the wire… I’d expect him to play at around a 50 point pace the rest of the way.
