Wednesday's Injury Updates - Howard, Yandle, Koivu...

Lots of conflicting reports on Jimmy Howard's broken finger, the latest is that he'll see a doctor today and if the news if good then he might be able to return on Friday... so you can climb down from the ledge (he says to himself).

Keith Yandle left last night's game with a knee injury, he's listed as day-to-day.

Not as bad as it could have been... Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is expected to miss the next 7-10 days due to his shoulder injury.

Mikko Koivu (shoulder) was close to returning last night but was held out, look for him to return on Thursday.

Ryan Malone (UBI) skated with the team yesterday and is hoping to return in the next week.

Martin Brodeur suffered a twisted ankle last night but he stayed in the game and completed his shutout. Should be fine unless it really flared up overnight.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Evander Kane, Danny Briere, Brooks Laich & Marc-Andre Bergeron. Laich played but was limited to less than 10 minutes.
