I'm in a somewhat similar situation as the fan who posted the question about Letang. The top 2 teams get a bye week next week, but I'm 2 points out. If the scores stay the same as they are currently, I would win 7-3, and the team above me would win 6-5, but a lot could change tomorrow. Should I drop a player on my team for perhaps a weaker player, so that I can get the bye week next week and hopefully be at full strength the next week? Players to drop could include McGinn, Little, and Plekanec. My score for the week is currently:
G A +/- PIM PPP GWG SOG W GAA SV% SO
My team :9 21 -8 16 8 2 101 5 2.01 .917 0
His team:10 13 -3 22 7 0 93 4 2.65 .902 0
My team tmrw
Perron
Seguin
Malkin
Lucic
Kopitar
Campbell
Doughty
Glencross
(Letang)
Halak
Fleury
(Quick on the bench)
His team tmrw
Grabovski
Carter
Heatley
Oshie
Krejci
Seabrook
Streit
Cammalleri?
Thomas
I figure the easiest cat. to target is PIM, but adding anyone should at least give me a better chance of catching up in goals, or padding my lead in PPP or shots. Also, should I bench my goaltenders? Or hope for a shutout to seal the deal? And on another note, should i drop someone for Ott for the playoffs?
Gotta know by 3am EST, thanks.
