Jordan Eberle with the only 3-point night in the NHL as he had 1+2=3, plus=3, and 3 shots. He has 1+5=6 and plus-6 over his last four games.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had 2 goals on 6 shots while playing on a line with Eberle. He is heating up recently and has 3+4=7 and 3 PPP over his last seven games.
Sam Gagner with his fifth straight game with no points. Going back further, he has just two points (1+1=2) over his last 12 games. He has 42 points through 64 games this season. His last two seasons he's had 42 in 68 and 41 in 68 so he's not really playing at a much different pace. Especially if you throw out the game he put up 8.
Three game point streak for Erik Karlsson as he chipped in an assist. He has 3+1=4 for the streak. Would you use a top 10 pick on this guy next season?
Don't look now but Cam Fowler is playing better. He has a goal and an assist last night to give him points in three straight (1+3=4). I have to think long and hard about whether Fowler is going to be one of my keepers for next season and beyond.
Two apples for the ageless one, Teemu Selanne and he's also on a three game point scoring streak with 2+2=4.
After closing out February with five straight games of no points, Patrick Sharp is loving March. After his two goals last night, he's on a 4 game point scoring streak and he has 4+6=10 in his last seven.
Marian Hossa scored a goal last night and that puts him at 70 for the season. He has points in his last four and 8 of his last 9 with 4+7=11 over that span.
Patrick Kane with one assist is also on a four game point scoring streak with 2+3=5.
Looks like the scales are tipped back in Corey Crawford's favor. After winning in relief of an ineffective Ray Emery on Tuesday night, he stopped 21 of 22 shots for the win last night. The battle for the Blackhawks' net continues.
We'll give the stat line of the night to Dustin Byfuglien with a goal and an assist, 9 shots, and plus-2. This gives him a modest three game point streak with 1+3=4.
Andrew Ladd scored a goal and he has come alive recently. He has 8+6=14 and 51 (!) shots over his last 12 games.
Justin Williams continues his string of good performances with a goal and an assist last night. He has 5+3=8 over his last six games.
