Saturday's Injury Updates - Parise, Datsyuk, Lidstrom...

Stay connected for news and updates

Concerned that he hasn't begun skating yet. We're there with you, Pavel.

Bad news here as Pavel Datsyuk still hasn't skated since getting surgery on his knee. His return is still almost two weeks away. This could start cutting into playoff times for some of us. Yikes.

Nicklas Lidstrom missed another game last night with his ankle injury and it sounds like he will miss at least two more.

Niklas Backstrom's injury is to his groin and the prognosis is that he'll miss 2-4 weeks. I'll take the over.

Zach Parise left the game in the second period in what some feared was a concussion. He passed the concussion test and returned to the game in the third. After the game he said he was "fine". Phew.

Rangers Ryan Callahan (bruised foot) and Michael Del Zotto (hip) both missed last night's game and remain day to day.

According to Dan Bylsma, Kris Letang's concussion symptoms are "not dramatic" and he will remain with the team. Still not sure when he could return but at least it sounds like it may be sooner rather than later.

Returning from the injured: Kyle Quincey, Nikolai Khabibulin, Brendan Mikkelson
