Tuesday's Injury Updates - Kopitar, Seidenberg, Versteeg...

This didn't look good for Colaiacovo. - Kirk Irwin

An update on injuries to NHL players.

Great news here as Anze Kopitar is expected back tonight so we overshot our estimations of 1-2 weeks from the start of the season.

Kris Versteeg's injury is not considered serious according to the team, but they still decided to place him on injured reserve.

Dennis Seidenberg missed yesterday's game with an LBI but the coach sounds very confident that this will be the only game he misses with the injury.

Ville Leino had to missed the team's first two games with an undisclosed injury. He remains listed as day to day. I'm guessing this doesn't affect your fantasy team much.

Carlo Colaiacovo left the game last night with an upper body injury. Looked like a shoulder to me. What else is new? He'll be reevaluated today.

Chris Kreider is still shaken up after he was rocked by Brooks Orpik on Sunday night. It's not yet known if he'll miss tomorrow night's game.

Update on Todd Bertuzzi is that he didn't actually have mono. It was just the flu. What kind of doctors is he seeing that could make this mistake? He's expected back on Friday.

Jonathan Ericsson missed last night's game with a shoulder injury. He's day to day.

Return to action last night: Cam Fowler, Dmitry Kulikov
