Thursdays Injury Updates

Miller to return to Buffalo net Thursday - Jen Fuller

The NHL Injuries that matter to your fantasy hockey roster

Apparently David Jones left last nights game and didn't return, shame on me for not noticing, though he has played well for the Flames, after being dealt from Colorado.
Busy night tonight with 10 games on the schedule

Phoenix Coyotes @ Detroit Red Wings

Jordin Tootoo has been cleared to play but won't crack the Red Wings lineup for Thursdays tilt against the 'Yotes
Tomas Tatar is also expected to be a healthy scratch with Mikael Samuelsson drawing back into the lineup
Paul Bissonette is eligible to play tonight having served his reduced pennance for leaving the bench, however with Tootoo out of the lineup, there is no one for him to fight so I doubt he'll play tonight.

Colorado Avalanche @ Boston Bruins

Carl Soderberg skated Wednesday doesn't sound like he is quite ready to play.
Jean-Sebastian Giguere is the tasked with the unenviable start in Boston

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Buffalo Sabres

Ryan Miller is expected back in net tonight after missing the previous two with a groin strain. I was impressed with how well he was playing so hopefully the rest doesn't change that.
Jared Boll is expected to play tonight for the BJ's so if you need the PIM's you can unleash him.

Carolina Hurricanes @ Washington Capitals

Tuomo Ruutu (LBI) traveled with the 'Canes but didn't play Tuesday, still questionable for this one

Florida Panthers @ Tampa Bay Lightning

Tim Thomas (groin) isn't expected to miss much action but whether he dresses is questionable for tonight
Tom Pyatt suffered a broken collarbone in Tuesdays win so he is out..

Winnipeg Jets @ Minnesota Wild

After leaving the Tuesday game against Nashville I don't expect Backstrom to be in net tonight, whether he is dressed is still unknown.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Nashville Predators

Joffrey Lupul remains questionable with a bruised knee

Montreal Canadiens @ Edmonton Oilers

Devan Dubnyk is slated to get the start here and will try to stem the goalie controversy brewing in Edmonton?
I have it from a credible source that Denis Grebeshkov is still day to day with a groin injury.
Hang in there Grebeshkov owner (Pope) as he should be inserted into the lineup any day now!

New York Rangers @ Anaheim Ducks

After Tuesdays Shark attack I expected the Rangers to have several deceased, seems only Rick Nash is feeling under the weather and is doubtful after getting stunned by a Mark Stuart headshot.
Luca Sbisa (ankle) is expected to begin skating today still a couple weeks away.
Kyle Palmieri (LBI) is questionable for tonight after Byfuglien leaned on him this past Sunday
Emerson Etem (UBI) says he is ready to go but it isn't a certainty he will dress for this one.

San Jose Sharks @ Vancouver Canucks

Mark Stuart is out with a 3 game suspension for the hit on Rick Nash
