Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Sunday

A fantasized look at the NHL injury news on Sunday morning

No Ryan Miller for the Sabres last night as he is day-to-day with a sore groin.  The Sabres called it "very short-term in nature" and said he would be back in the net for their next game on Tuesday.

Charlie Coyle left last night's game with a LBI which the Wild described as "not gravely serious"... so cancel the funeral and let's just call him day-to-day.

The update on Alexandre Burrows is that he should be out for a few weeks with a mysterious foot injury.  When Torts was asked if it was broken, he said, "I just don't think we need to give out that information".  No, you don't... dick.

Max Pacioretty was banged up in Tuesday's season opener and has been nursing a wrist injury since.  He couldn't go last night but it doesn't sound too serious so hopefully he won't be out long.

Nikolai Kulemin took some friendly fire from Dion Phaneuf in practice and has a cracked bone in his ankle.  He is expected to miss at least two weeks.

Brad Marchand was a little rattled after a hit from Abdelkader last night but he picked himself up and managed to finish the game.  Reports say he had a good cry and should be fine.
