This is my first year doing fantasy, so just trying to get a glimpse of how I am doing. So Let me know if you think I botched any of my moves, or if you think I have been doing good.
Roto head to head scoting: G, A, PPP, SOG, +/-, PIM, GAA, W, S%, SO
Started out with:
LW: Logan Couture
LW: Max Pacioretty
LW/C: Nathan Gerbe
RW: Tyler Seguin
RW: Jarome Iginla
LW/RW: Johan Franzen
D: Matthew Carle
D: Paul Martin
D: Jonas Brodin
D: Mike Green
D: Jay Boumeester
G: King Henry
G: V. Fasth
I dropped: Paul Martin, Jonas Brodin, Nathan Gerbe, Johan Franzen.
I picked up:
Marek Mazanec (for short term goalie help. I WAS GETTING KILLED ON GOALIE STATS FIRST 3 weeks. King Henry and Pave were just terrible, and Fasth was hurt).
Torey Krug (D) Can't believe someone dropped him.
Erik Johnson (D) ---> Although I am dropping him for Keith Yandal if I win the waivers for him. Can't believe someone is dropping Yandal!!!!
Radko Gudas (D) ---> Picked him up for the PIM
Kris Versteeg (LW/RW) ----> Was desperate for a right winger. Actually used the Free agent pick up thread from the site to grab him.
I still have Mike Green on my team, hes just on IR. Who should I drop when he gets healthy???
I was thinking about picking up Chris Stewart and dropping Versteeg because he has been heating up, but I think Versteeg will do much better in Chicago. Kind of up in the air with this.
*I have not made any trades so far, and barely ever make trades, but if there are any players on my team that you think I should wheel and deal let me know!!!
Random Notes: I noticed that there is a bunch of Left Wingers in my league, but Right Wingers seem to be rare. Any reason for this, or is this just something that happened in my league????
Also, if good/decent RW's are rare, should I go out of my way to make a trade for a good one so I can be locked in for the season, or am I just over thinking things.
