Busy Thursday night with 20 teams on the NHL Schedule
Good News Bad News for 'Canes fans
Jeff Skinner will rejoin the lineup tonightafter missing 12 games with his mysterious UBI.
Alexander Semin has been placed on IR, it was revealed his UBI was in fact a concussion, and he'll miss some time...and the 'Canes will miss him.
Danny DeKeyser has been placed on LTIR with a separated shoulder, he will miss at least the next 10 games and it's estimated 4 to 6 weeks.
Daniel Alfredsson and Steven Weiss both nursing groin injuries will also miss this one, Weiss thinks Saturday will see him back in the lineup. Alfie has been skating, however is still questionable.
Gustav Nyquist has been recalled and is slated to make his season debut tonight... in case you didn't know.
Patrik Berglund (UBI) is out tonight.
Dennis Seidenberg (LBI) did not take the ice for Bruins morning skate... so likely out tonight.
With all the roster moves Buffalo has made/attempted lately, I don't even want to deal with them.
I will bet that Ryan Miller is in net tonight.
Tyler Bozak won't be back from his hamstring injury tonight. He's aiming for a Saturday return.
Mark Fraser (LBI) will also miss tonight's game, his second consecutive.
Bryan Bickell left leg injury suffered in Tuesday's loss to Colorado will keep him sidelined "a couple of weeks" according to coach Joel Quenneville..
Marian Hossa (LBI) who had missed 3 straight is good to go tonight.
Jacob Trouba (Neck) the promising rookie defender has been practicing with the team. Strengthening his neck where he had some torn ligaments after striking the dasher face first. He is reportedly practicing without the no contact jersey now.. so Trouba watch begins.
Michael Del Zotto a healthy scratch for the last three games, will rejoin the lineup tonight. I have to wonder with as aggressive as Jim Nill has been, if this isn't a showcase of sorts. Just throwing it out there... Del Zotto has an intriguing offensive potential and with Gonchar and GoGo having little impact...
Alex Chiasson left Wednesday’s practice after taking a puck to the face. He was back at it this morning in his normal spot so looks like he is good to go tonight.
Ray Whitney did not skate with the lines this morning so it looks like he'll miss number 4.
Matt Duchene did not join the Avalanche for their two-game road trip. He'll miss the next 2 games with an oblique inury.
Lauri Korpikoski (UBI) will not play tonight. He had just returned from a previous injury and it sounds like this is just precautionary, it's thought that he should be back in the lineup on Saturday.
Derek Morris who hasn't played since being injured on November 5 will return to the lineup tonight. Morries has surprised this season scoring four goals and adding six assists in 14 games.
Philip Larsen (undisclosed) is questionable for tonight's game.
Jonathan Quick news is he will be out for at least 4 more weeks, with his grade 2 groin strain.
Brent Burns (beard?) is reportedly good to go tonight after missing a month.
Marty Havlat is also slated to play.
What did I miss.. let me know in the comments.
