Pretty bad news here as Tomas Hertl went knee on knee with Dustin Brown last night and he took the brunt of it. He had to come out of the game and as Joe Thornton put it: "he's going to be out for a while."
The King, Henrik Lundqvist, missed practice with a neck injury yesterday and he's questionable to get the start tonight. Supposedly it's only a stiff neck so he shouldn't miss much time, if any.
Word on the street is that Jonathan Bernier has what is being called a minor injury. That's as descriptive as it gets.
This doesn't make much sense to me but Eric Staal has the flu and couldn't dress last night but he will play tonight. He couldn't have played last night, too? Come on, man.
Tim Thomas (LBI) has been practicing and could actually be activated in time for tonight's game in Winnipeg so keep an eye on that.
Mika Zibanejad left the game yesterday with an upper body injury and did not return. He will be re-evaluated today.
