Here are your injury updates for Monday December 23rd 2013.
Sergei Gonchar is dealing with concussion-like symptoms. Apparently he's out for 7-10 days which sounds optimistic. Consider this to potentially be to straw that breaks the camel's back as he really hasn't been too useful all season with a whopping 0 goals. He has been better as of late granted being a point per game in his last 7, but who can tell how this will affect an old timer like him.
Roberto Luongo left his tilt against the Jets after being clipped twice, once by Big Buff and another by Blake Wheeler. Not much information on his status, but if it is any provision he did stay in after both hits so hopefully it's nothing serious. Consider him day to day.
Quick update on Matt Calvert: he sprained his AC and he'll be out for the next 2-3 weeks. If you have him, you were probably trying to jump on the Columbus bandwagon a little late as they've been scoring. He's very droppable at this point with 4+4=8, 20SOG on the year. Look elsewhere
