Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Tuesday

Jonathan Daniel

A quick look at NHL injury news on Tuesday morning.

Daniel Alfredsson was scratched last night. He's day-to-day with a UBI, that's all we know.

Alexander Edler skated yesterday but it's unclear when he'll return.

Roberto Luongo was back on the ice as well but was expected to miss seven to 10 days so I'd be surprised if Lack didn't start at least one more.

Corey Crawford may return Thursday or Friday but I'm sure the Blackhawks are telling him, "no rush," the way Raanta is playing.

The Penguins are still uncertain about Evgeni Malkin returning Tuesday.

Zdeno Chara was on the ice Monday and should be ready to go Tuesday.

As our very own Tommer13 reported yesterday, P.A. Parenteau needed an MRI. The results are in and the prognosis is not good: six weeks to heal a sprained medial collateral ligament, or MCL as it's known in the biz.
