Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Thursday Dec 5th
Alexander Edler (lower-body) is out indefinitely.
Darren Helm an MRI revealed fluid on his shoulder and he will miss both Friday and Saturday's games. He will be re-evaluated on Monday.
Ryan Garbutt (lower leg bruise) is out for tonight’s game.
Michal Handzus is day-to-day with an illness.
Alexander Semin (concussion) will miss his ninth straight game tonight, but could play on their upcoming road-trip (Dec 9-14)
Tyler Seguin (concussion-like symptoms) skated this morning at Air Canada Centre and looked great, but he still is a game-time decision because he has to follow NHL protocol and pass a baseline test.
Todd Bertuzzi (shoulder) says he is good to play on Friday.
Tyler Bozak (strained oblique) is back on injured reserve.
An MRI revealed a strained oblique that will keep Bozak out for an "extended period of time".
Mathieu Perreault (lower body) is not on the Ducks' two-game swing to Chicago and St. Louis.
Evander Kane remains day-to-day with lower-body injury. Day-to-day suggests there is a chance that he could play on Saturday vs. the Lightning.
Evgeni Malkin is out tonight with a lower-body injury.
Malkin left the morning skate early and will not play tonight. Head coach Dan Bylsma called Malkin day-to-day. Monitor his status prior to Saturday's game vs. Boston.
Ilya Bryzgalov has been placed IR making him unavailable for the next two games. Bryzgalov, is wrestling with concussion and whiplash symptoms that the Oilers were hoping would quickly clear on their own. They’re not, so he’s on the shelf for a while.
