Stay connected for news and updates

"Dude, OK, I'll play, just stop bothering me" - Bruce Fedyck-US PRESSWIRE

A fantasized look at NHL injury news on a Monday morning.

Finally, Dustin Byfuglien is set to return from his mystery injury. He will be in the lineup for the Jets tomorrow.

Michael Leighton was placed on injured reserve by the Flyers yesterday with a UBI. No word on any timetable as of now.

Ryan Malone missed last nights game with a UBI and he's considered day to day.

Matt Hunwick is out for tonight's game with a torso injury. That sounds interesting.

Matt Niskanen practiced for the first time yesterday so hopefully he isn't far out from a return.

Not a lot of info on the Jonas Hiller injury out there. Just that he's got an LBI and is considered day to day.

UPDATE - Reports are that Jaroslav Halak is returning from injury and is slated to start tonight so get him in your lineups if you can.

Returning from the injured: Dan Girardi, Daniel Paille, Shawn Thornton, Brad Marchand, Robyn Regehr, James Wisniewski, Eric Belanger, Mark Fistric
