There's a shot we see Letang make his return tonight. - Kevin C. Cox
A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Wednesday morning.
Miikka Kiprusoff has a "grade 2 MCL sprain" and now is going to be out for two weeks. Yeah, that sounds minor.
Mike Cammalleri (hip) is good to go and will be in the lineup tonight.
Kris Letang practiced yesterday and this morning. There's actually a chance that he plays tonight so monitor this as the day goes on.
In news that won't surprise anyone, Joni Pitkanen left last night's game with a LBI. No word today on the severity but he's considered day to day for now.
Kris Versteeg has an undisclosed injury and he's considered questionable to play tomorrow night. I'm assuming this had something to do with the Alex Ovechkin incident.
Josh Harding has been "feeling off" after taking some new medication for his M.S. He had to sit out last night and Darcy Kuemper was called up to start in his place. Harding is considered day to day.
James Reimer (knee) was placed on injured reserve and will supposedly miss just one week.
Al Montoya left last night's game in the second period with a lower body injury. No word on severity but this just means we'll be seeing a whole lot more of Ondrej Pavelec.
