A fantasized look at some injury news from the NHL on a Saturday morning.
Jonas Hiller did not come out to start the second period last night as the reports say it's a LBI. No word on specifics or severity yet but I'm not sure if the fact that he let in two first period goals had anything to do with it.
There isn't much info on Kris Letang's injury aside from the fact that he won't play again today.
Encouraging news here as Brent Burns actually has a chance to play today. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday and the word is even if he doesn't play today, the Sharks say it won't be very long at all.
Miikka Kiprusoff (LBI) was placed on injured reserve yesterday so maybe this is more than a day to day thing.
James Wisniewski is targeting Sunday as a return date from his head injury. I'd say that's pretty good as the injury looked a lot more serious at the time.
Mike Cammalleri (hip) will get at least another game off as he won't suit up tonight.
Anton Babchuk was activated and he'll likely play tonight.
Dainius Zubrus will miss another game today with his upper body injury.
Jason Spezza had his surgery yesterday and is hoping to be back before the end of the season but how often do those hopes come to fruition?
Anton Lander broke his foot and he'll be out at least a month.
Word is that Willie Mitchell is going to miss the entire season but that shouldn't affect your fantasy team much.
