Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Saturday

Stay connected for news and updates

Bruce Bennett

A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Saturday morning.

Vladimir Tarasenko (concussion) was a full participant in practice yesterday so it appears his return is imminent.

Mr. Palindrome, Joffrey Lupul (forearm), reportedly has been cleared to play and will lace them up tonight for the Maple Leafs.

Michael Ryder seems to have aggravated his LBI and he won't play tonight. Consider him day-to-day.

Andrei Loktionov had to leave last night's game with an undisclosed injury. No word on what the injury is or if he'll miss any games going forward.

Milan Michalek hasn't seen any improvement in his knee so he won't play tonight or tomorrow.

David Ullstrom hurt his groin on Thursday night and he's been placed on injured reserve. He'll be out 3-4 weeks reportedly.

Andy McDonald (knee) has been skating but there's still no timetable on when he'll return.

T.J. Oshie (ribs) won't suit up tonight so dress a backup if you can.

Oilers teammates Mark Fistric (elbow) and Ryan Jones (illness) both missed last night's game.

Returning last night: Luke Schenn
