Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Wednesday

A fantasized look at the NHL injury news on Wednesday morning

Scary incident last night as Marc Staal took a puck to the eye and left in some distress.

Another tough dmen, the Flyers Nicklas Grossmann, left the game last night with a LBI. No word on the severity yet. He may not be owned in a lot of leagues but those of us that are in leagues that count blocks know this guy well as he leads the NHL with 68 this season

Milan Hejduk was out last night due to a torso injury. This has been lingering from a few weeks back so probably just something that he'll play through while missing the odd game.

The season is curtains for Stephen Weiss as he needs major wrist surgery.

Good news on Mathieu Garon, if you're a fan of his, he says his LBI isn't major, just a day-to-day thing.

Troy Brouwer was ill and couldn't play last night... he rarely misses games so he must of been puking his face off or something vile like that.

Reports say that Lubomir Visnovsky has returned to Slovakia to deal with personal issues, we'll see how much time he misses.

The Senators are expecting to get Milan Michalek back in the lineup tonight after he's missed the past 10 due to a knee injury.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Jack Johnson, Thomas Vanek, Derick Brassard, Taylor Hall & Dave Bolland.
