Lets go with Alex Chiasson for fantasy line of the night with 2 goals, 2 hits, and 4 shots. This whole NHL thing is no big deal as he's been killing it. He was held off the scoresheet in his NHL debut but since then he's 5+1=6 in his next four games.
Vernon Fiddler had done basically nothing all season but all of a sudden he's on fire. Two more apples last night gives him 2+7=9 over his last five games. Talk about out of nowhere.
Third straight 2-point game for the Wizard, Ray Whitney, as he had a powerplay goal and an assist last night.
Not a lot of talk about Alex Goligoski this season but he put up an assist last night to give him a 3-game point scoring streak. His 23 points (including 10 PPP) in 39 games is a nice bounce back campaign for the Minnesotan.
Craig Anderson scored the shutout last night, making 33 saves against a punchless Devils team. It was his first win in over two months so it must have felt real good for Anderson. His peripherals are still tops in the league.
Nice return to the lineup for Brandon Dubinsky as he had an assist, 2 hits, and a zesty 10 PIM. Same as he's ever been.
The Munchkin, Cam Atkinson, scored a goal and added an assist and he's been useful recently for the first time this season. Over his last 8 games he's put up 7 points.
First career goal for Jean-Gabriel Pageau and it also turned out to be the game winner. He has points in both of his games since the call up, however, he played under 13 minutes and he didn't do much in the A this season so he probably isn't worth your time.
Mikael Backlund with two assists as he had a season high 19:56 of ice time. Those are first line minutes for a guy who was healthy scratched this season.
Big game for Mark Giordano as he scored the OT winner and added a powerplay assist. He has 4 points in his last 4 games as he tries to save some face.
Powerplay goal for Lee Stempniak and he's on a four game point scoring streak with 1+3=4 and 17 shots.
