We're talking about practice???... Mike Smith had to exit the Yotes morning skate after just a few minutes as he has a LBI and couldn't play last night. Not sure on his status, we should find out more today.
Perhaps rookie sensation Alex Chiasson was tempting fate with his incredible start as he had to leave last night's game early with a suspected sprained shoulder and is out on a day-to-day basis.
Marcus Johansson tweaked his groin and had to skip practice yesterday but he should be good to go tonight.
Similarly, Filip Kuba also missed practice yesterday with a LBI but is a possibility to play tonight.
Kari Lehtonen (groin) took part in the morning skate yesterday but was still not ready to go last night.
The Avs activated Semyon Varlamov (hip) from the IR and he dressed as the backup last night.
sunburn UBI is fading and he should be back in the lineup on Wednesday.
Erik Karlsson continues to skate but Coach Paul MacLean said he is not close to practicing with the team... so be patient.
Joffrey Lupul was cleared to return from his concussion for last night's game but Coach Randy said that they wanted him to be 110% before bringing him back... as a numbers guy, I see this as a bit of an issue and must now list Lupul as out in perpetuity.
This is from a few days ago so not sure if someone touched on it... Joey Hishon had his head slammed into the glass on a hit from behind and is now out with a head injury. Hopefully he can bounce back from this.
