The Blackhawks are slowing things down as they are starting to heal up for the playoffs so expect them to rest guys during the final week or so of the regular season. Ray Emery has a LBI that doesn't seem serious but the team will be cautious and he won't play tonight. They are also in no rush to bring Patrick Sharp (shoulder) back and he'll probably sit out a few more before returning next week.
Matt Calvert suffered a broken finger last night and it could shelf him for a while.
Brandon Prust was out last night, seems as though he is still dealing with a nagging shoulder injury.
Well that was quick... Jeff Skinner (head injury) is feeling better and may be able to play this weekend.
Erik Karlsson (Achilles) is making progress and Sens GM Bryan Murray offered that Karlsson could return to practice next week... make note for your playoff pools.
Also progress for Marc Staal (eye) as he was at practice yesterday but still has blurry vision, so his return still seems a ways off.
Milan Hejduk is expected to return tonight after missing the last nine due to a shoulder injury.
Cam Fowler (UBI) has missed the last two games but could return on Friday.
