Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Sunday

Jim Rogash

A fantasized look at some NHL injury news on a Sunday morning.

Nathan Horton dropped the gloves to fight Jarome Iginla yesterday but he suffered a hand injury in the process and had to leave the game. He's listed as day-to-day for now.

Erik Karlsson (achilles) practiced with the team again yesterday and he may actually make it back to play in a regular season game.

Derek Morris sat out last night's game for the Coyotes with a LBI. No further word on how long he'll be out but this really shouldn't affect your fantasy team much at all.

It sounds like Anders Lindback (ankle) is all healed up and should actually start today's game for the Lightning. Ben Bishop owners want to know why.

Patrick Sharp (UBI) couldn't play yesterday but he's on the road trip with the Blackhawks and hopes to play either Monday or Wednesday.

Olli Jokinen was only able to play one shift before he had to leave yesterday's game with a LBI. He's day-to-day.

Derek Dorsett was supposed to miss the season with is broken clavicle but he's been practicing with no pain and may return at some point this week.

Returning from the injured: Ilya Kovalchuk, Jeff Skinner, Raphael Diaz, Jay Rosehill
