Fantasy Hockey Injury News for Thursday

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

A fantasized look at the injury new on Thursday morning

The word on Jaroslav Halak is that he re-aggravated his wonky groin and it's anticipated to keep him on the shelf for at least three weeks.

The Bruins are saying that Patrice Bergeron has a "moderate concussion"... ok, whatev. Either he does or he doesn't. This is a little concerning as recall that Bergeron missed nearly a full season due to a concussion in 2007/08.

Tomas Plekanec left last night's game with a LBI... no word on the severity.

Dany Heatley took a slash to the arm/wrist at the end of last night's game and initial reports say that it could be serious.

Damien Brunner is likely out for tonight's game due to a minor injury but shouldn't miss much beyond that.

Drew Shore is day-to-day with a UBI.

The LBI that Nik Antropov suffered on Tuesday is going to keep him out for around two weeks.

Ryan Kesler (foot) is expected to start skating and could be 7-10 days away from getting back in the lineup.

Vincent Lecavalier (foot) practiced yesterday for the first time since he suffered his foot injury and there is a possibility that he returns tonight.

Fortunate fantasy GMs should see Marian Hossa (shoulder) and Henrik Zetterberg (groin) return to the lineup tonight.

Brandon Dubinsky (LBI) was activated from the IR yesterday and looks ready to go tonight.
