This is for all of you that are in leagues with weekly transactions... a little summary if you need some assistance setting your fantasy hockey lineup.
The word 'balance' best describes the Week #20 schedule as every team plays at least three times and just eight teams play four times. I like the 4-game skeds for WSH & NYI as they face some weak defensive teams and the 3-game skeds for ANA, NJD & PIT are also very favourable.

It's officially the stretch drive in most fantasy hockey leagues, so another important week as Week #19 brings favourable 4-game skeds for SJ, STL & VAN whereas LA, OTT & PHI get stuck only playing twice.

This is for all of you that are in leagues with weekly transactions... a little summary if you need some assistance setting your fantasy hockey lineup.
Week #18 is another busy one as hockey heats up after the Super Bowl with 14 teams playing four times and only BOS & CAR playing twice. A few of the favourable 4-game skeds this week are DET, LA & NYR. My sleeper this week is the 29th best offensive team, MIN, as they play twice against the CBJs.

Week #17 is the second half of a two week "week" for those playing on Yahoo!. No games on Monday, so they'll cram in a week's work of action into six days. Favourable sked this week go to BOS (four games) and NYI (three games) whereas CGY, PHX & STL are the only teams to play just twice.

This is for all of you that are in leagues with weekly transactions... a little summary if you need some assistance setting your fantasy hockey lineup.
Week #16 is where things start to get funky... there are just three days of games before a five day All-Star break and then six days of games next week. So a short week for those playing on CBS whereas Yahoo! is combining the next 14 days into one "week" (not sure about ESPN)... got it? For the next three days I think I'd take my chances with TOR & NYI players, they both play twice, against each other, and both are pretty pathetic defensively... so should be good times!

Week #15 is a busy one as 13 teams play four times and only VAN plays twice. BOS has the rare 5-game week, so take advantage of that and I like the 4-game skeds for your offensive players from WSH, NSH & NYI.

This is for all of you that are in leagues with weekly transactions... a little summary if you need some assistance setting your fantasy hockey lineup.
After a few quieter weeks around the holidays, Week #14 picks up the pace as 11 teams play four times whereas FLA is the only team that plays just twice. I like the 4-game skeds for PIT & VAN and can see lots of scoring chances for BUF & PHI during their three games this week. On the flipside, MTL goes up against each of the top three defensive teams (BOS, NYR & STL) during a 4-game week.

Week #13 kicks off with the Winter Classic but it's a little on the lighter side overall. I like the 4-game sked for CHI, OTT & PHI (they play OTT twice). My sleeper pick this week is the NYI who play three times. The notable 2-game weeks belong to PIT & WSH.
