Daily Diarrhea

Heatley Dany Heatley just keeps sticking it to the Senators, not only has he made a public demand for a trade that put the Sens in a dilly of a pickle but he also has a no-trade clause in his contract so he can veto a deal if they try to trade him to say, the Islanders... now its been revealed that Heater has a $4 million bonus due on July 1st, that means that teams won't be too inclined to pursue him before then.  So teams that may be interested in Heatley will have to make the decision if shelling out some valuable assets for Dany is a better option than signing a UFA on the open market.

Speaking of people really popular in Ottawa, Alexei Yashin has reportedly signed a two-year deal with SKA-St. Petersburgh in the KHL so he'll be staying over there for a while longer... our condolences to those that were holding out hope for a "Return of the Yash".

Its about time for the Jonas Gustavsson Magical Mystery Tour to begin... the free agent goalie from Sweden will be visiting four cities, Toronto, Dallas, Denver and San Jose starting sometime in the next week.  If he ends up in Toronto or Colorado then he's got a good chance to play right away but signing with Dallas or San Jose would mean that he could be apprenticing for a few years (possibly in the AHL for a while).

Daily Distraction

What's distracting us today? What do you do when you're an expert illustrator, hockey fan and a bit of a sleaze ball?  Well artist Rob Ullman, is apparently all three, and drew this:

We're not exactly sure what you're suppose to do with a drawing of two sexy girls in skin tight hockey unis but we've never worried about posting useless things in this space why start now?
