Dosage Express
Zetterberg tearin' it up... Filppula along for the ride... Fehr worth watching... unlucky Price... take a Flyer on Backlund?... Getzlaf may be done... a Sexy Top 11 (with more Ginger)

Daily Diarrhea

Zetterberg Henrik Zetterberg with another two points last night, he has six multi's in his last 11 games and has 7+10=17 with 48 shots in those 11... he's on an absolute tear right now heading into the playoffs.

2+1=3 for Valtteri Filppula last night and he's really clicking with Zetterberg lately with 4+4=8 and a plus-8 in his last three games... he's going to win some GM's playoff games this week.

If you own Mike Del Zotto then hopefully its just in points-only leagues as his minus-22 is a killer and he only has 73 shots on the year... he does have goals in back-to-back games and a modest 3+3=6 in his last 10 games.

More production from Peter Mueller last night as he added two more points to his Avs tally, giving him 5+10=15 and 7 PPP in 11 games with Colorado... he's showing no signs of slowing down as he played a season high 22 minutes last night.

Henrik Sedin is one point away from the Century Club after a three point night last night... he's been on a nice run lately with 3+13=16 in his last 10.

Fehr Despite not playing a lot of minutes, typically in the 10-12 minute range, Eric Fehr has put together a nice season with 21 goals so far and he has six in his last nine games... could be someone to keep an eye on for deep playoff pools.

Tough break for Carey Price as he hadn't played since getting pulled about three weeks ago and then he's shutting out the Sabres through 58 minutes before they pot two and win in the shootout... he's really not that bad, so if I was the Habs GM or a fantasy GM, I wouldn't give up on this guy over the long-term.

Ty Conklin has started two of the past three for the Blues and won the first two before giving up three goals (including a weak one for the winner) on 23 shots in the loss to the Wings.

Jon Quick was pulled in the 1st period last night after giving up three goals on 16 shots... he's had an interesting few weeks as in his last nine games he's only 3-4-1 but he does have two shutouts and has given up exactly three goals in the other seven games... not terrible but not fantastic.

It can't be long before the Flyers give Johan Backlund a chance between the pipes... he's been their top goalie in the AHL this year (21-17-2, 2.79, .906) and has five years of SEL experience, so he's worth a shot, especially given that Brian Boucher doesn't look like he's up to the challenge.

Injury Updates (see our Injury Updates page for a consolidated list of injuries):

Getzlaf Ryan Getzlaf left last night's game due to his sore ankle... the speculation is that he may get shutdown for the rest of the season soon.

Brooks Laich had his 257 game ironman streak ended last night as he was sidelined with facial injuries... he's listed as day-to-day and could return on Sunday.

Sergei Gonchar missed last night's game due to an illness, so he should fine this weekend.

Tuomo Ruutu will have shoulder surgery and is done for the season.

Rick DiPietro is likely done for the year as he hasn't been on the ice in about three weeks and says he has no idea if/when he might return.

Marc-Andre Bergeron returned last night for the Habs after being out for 15 games with a knee injury and chipped in an assist... he's back playing forward and manning the point on the #1 PP unit, so give him a look.

Also returning to action from the injured list last night was: Dan Cleary, Mike Cammalleri and Ryan Callahan.
