Injury Updates - Oct 11th, 2010

Rene Bourque suffered what looked to be a concussion last night as he got up after taking a hit looking pretty drunk.  He doesn't have a history of concussions but isn't very durable so we'll see how long it takes him to get over this.

Ondrej Pavelec was released from the hospital yesterday but they weren't able to determine what caused him to collapse on Friday.  He'll likely take it slow in working his way back from the concussion that he suffered in the fall, so don't expect to see him for a few weeks.

No real update on the condition of John Tavares (concussion), he'll likely sit out today's game and hopefully we'll get an update on how he's feeling then.

We also haven't heard much further on Pekka Rinne's injury... reports say that he wasn't limping when he left the arena after the game on Saturday so hopefully it's nothing serious.

Jamie Benn likely suffered a concussion on Saturday night after getting lit up by James Wisniewski... he'll be re-evaluated over the next few days.

Chicago is hopeful that Patrick Sharp (UBI) can return to action today in Buffalo.
