Injury Updates - Oct 24th, 2010

For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Semyon Varlamov is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury... we'll take a wild guess that it's his groin again... if so, this is getting a little ridiculous.

Nik Antropov has been hampered so far this year due to a slow recovery from off-season hip surgery and his ice-time has been limited.  He was scratched last night and while we haven't heard anything yet, we're assuming that he needs more time to rest.

The Kings are hoping that Drew Doughty can return to action on Wednesday, meaning he'll miss one more game (Monday)... again, this is their hope (and my hope actually as he's my top guy in my main league).

Johnny Boychuk left last night's game with a wrist inury, his status is TBD.

JP Dumont left last night's game with a LBI and Trotz said afterwards that he's day-to-day.

Tomas Kopecky missed last night's game due to a UBI, not sure on the extent yet.

Tom Poti was out of the lineup last night for the Caps, not sure on the injury or the extent right now.

Dan Sexton took a puck to the face and had to leave last night's game... it's probably not serious but trying telling that to his smile this morning.

Craig Rivet missed last night's game after complaining of a sore shoulder... the same one that he had off-season surgery to repair, not good but hopefully you're not counting on him too heavily.

Mike Green was able to return last night from his shoulder injury but he only took four shifts and was only used on the PP, so he's well below 100% right now, not sure how long until he's back to normal.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  David Jones.
