Injury Updates - Oct 27th, 2010

For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Craig Anderson wasn't even going to play last night but he still managed to hurt himself in the warm-up and has returned to Denver to have his knee examined.  Sounds like this could be serious but let's not jump to conclusions.  If it is serious then Peter Budaj will be thrust into action, which he has done before but not with great success and we don't have great expectations.  It could also mean an NHL return for John Grahame who's patiently waiting in the AHL.

Kurtis Foster couldn't finish last night's game and the speculation is that he has a groin injury but he was also suffering from an illness prior the game so not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Matt Beleskey left last night's game after getting thrown heavily into the boards... no word on the injury or the extent yet.

Ondrej Pavelec has been sent down to the AHL on a conditioning stint but he's still expected to be recalled and start for ATL on Saturday.

Sheldon Souray broke his hand in a fight and is out for two weeks of AHL action... if you really cared about him.

Colby Armstrong left last night's game after getting slashed, hopefully you don't really care about him either.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Craig Rivet.
