For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Ryan Callahan broke his hand last night and is expected to miss around 6 weeks... tough break as he was on his way to a breakout season.

Paul Stastny went into the boards head-first last night and the Avs were saying afterwards that he has a sore back... it looked pretty bad so hopefully he's alright but it wouldn't surprise me if he was out for a bit.

Chris Pronger suffered a LBI last night... he'll be re-evaluated today.

Erik Johnson left last night's game early due to a leg injury... this guy missed a season after a golfing accident so he doesn't have the best luck with injuries, so get nervous.

Viktor Stalberg left the game early with a UBI... he'll be re-evaluated today.

Alex Semin was out of the lineup last night but it sounds like it's only the flu.

Pekka Rinne was back on the ice yesterday for the first time following his knee surgery... there's no timetable for his return.

Quick recovery from Patrick Kane as he's been skating and is hoping to return on Friday from his ankle injury that was expected to keep him out for at least three weeks (he's missed 10 days).

Vincent Lecavalier made a surprise return to the lineup last night after missing 15 games with a broken hand, so early Christmas present for some of us.

More returns last night than the mall on Boxing Day...

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Tim Connolly, Drew Stafford, Dave Bolland, Kristian Huselius, Scott Gomez, Jaroslav Spacek, Anssi Salmela, Chris Drury & Devin Setoguchi.
