HEADS UP:  Our weekly 'Fantasy Five' feature is up over at right now... no major F-ups this week as far as we can tell!

It was an Oilers rookie jail-break last night as they all went off... Jordan Eberle had two goals and is 5+4=9 in his last 10, Taylor Hall has three helpers giving him 5+3=8 in his last nine, Magnus Paajarvi (aka "Maggie" according to Hall) had two points and 2+6=8 in his last eight and Linus Omark showed no respect for Steve Mason with 1+2=3.

The fantasy stat-line of the night goes to Jack Johnson as he had 2A on the PP with 4 shots & 14 PIMs... including the always appreciated walkoff PIM homerun (10 minute misconduct) with nine seconds left last night.

We've been talking up Marc Staal as he's seeing a lot more PP time lately... led the Rangers dmen with 4:01 on the PP last night and has 3+4=7 with 4 PPPs over his last eight games.

We talked about Cam Ward's surprisingly sweet stats in the podcast recently and last night's 45 save win (on 47 shots) will certainly help.  He needed a pick-me-up after only lasting a minute and giving up two goals the night before.  His sv% is 8th in the league at .925 and he's 5-2-3 with a 1.82 & .946 over the past month.

Our top breakout pick in the Breakout Bible is on fire right now as Erik Karlsson had a trio of helpers last night and has 1+6=7 over his last five games.  He's 10th in scoring amongst dmen and is on pace for 48 points (we predicted 47... toot, toot).

Kristian Huselius with the hat-job last night and while he'll obviously be much more popular today, we have been telling you that this guy is a proven 60+ point player, so grab him if he's been dropped in your league (LW alert!!!).  We're projecting hat-tricks every night for the rest of the season.

Is Olli Jokinen starting to heat up in an effort to pull his numbers towards respectability?... he had 1+2=3 last night and has goals in three of his last four games.  He still only has five goals on the season and is on pace for 40 points.

Alex Steen with the GWG last night and he has 5+4=9 with 34 shots over his last eight games.  The shots alone make him worth a look.

Dustin Byfuglien just refuses to slow down as he is 3+9=12, plus-4, 6 PIMs & 39 shots over his last 10 games... epic. fantasy. season. (see what I just did there)

One category that Buff doesn't led dmen is assists... the current belt holder there is Ryan Whitney and he added two more last night (along with a plus-4) and has 0+7=7 & a plus-11 over his last 10 games.

Mikhail Grabovski with an active game for the Leafs as he had a goal, plus-2, 6 PIMs and 3 sogs... he has 5+1=6 with 21 shots over his last six games.

Have to mention the game winning PPG from our boy Logan Couture last night although I must acknowledge that he's cooled a little lately... but don't panic!

Sharks rookie dman Justin Braun just keeps chipping in with the assists despite not getting many minutes or PP time... he now has 1+8=9 over his last 11 games.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard is seeing a lot of ice-time, is playing the point on the PP and has 1+4=5 over his last six games... unfortunately with him you'll only get assists & PPPs.

Everyone's gaga for rookie dman Kevin Shattenkirk but don't sleep on Cam Fowler as he's been steadily producing with 1+4=5 over his last six games and 2+12=14 with 39 shots over his last 19.

The Ducks eased Joffrey Lupul back into the lineup when he first returned but he's now up to playing 17 minutes a game and has 3+1=4 with 19 shots over his last five games.

Dustin Jeffrey has been sent down back down by the Penguins after 1+1=2 in three games.

Wojtek Wolski was a healthy scratch last night... he has 1A in his last eight games and has been playing around 11 minutes a night lately.

Max Pacioretty with 1+1=2 in his second game with the Habs this year, he's seeing decent minutes and some PP time.  He's already played 86 NHL games before this year so he's not likely stashed on minor league rosters so this might be a chance to snatch a solid prospect off the waiver wire.

Scott Gomez with two assists last night and he now has 2+4=6 in his last six games and tore Elliotte Friedman a new one in this pre-game interview...
