For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

As we already told you, both Marian Hossa and Patrick Kane didn't return last night.  Sounds like Hossa could be good to go Wednesday night.  The news on Kane isn't as optimistic, it sounds like the "best-case scenario" has him returning on boxing day.

Paul Stastny returned after missing one game with a back injury.  He didn't hit the scoresheet but looks good to go.  He has 10 points in seven games so make sure you get him back in there ASAP.

Chris Kunitz practiced with the Pens and should be suiting up Monday night and playing on Crosby's line.  He had seven points in five games before sitting out two games with his undisclosed injury.

Hopes were Alexander Semin would return to the lineup last night but that didn't happen.  He's got some weird combination of flu and LBI but it sounds like he's really close to returning.

Pekka Rinne is very close to returning for the Preds.  Coach Trotz said it's likely he'll return on Wednesday.  It will be interesting to see how often the hot (except for his last game) Andres Lindback will get the nod.

Steve Sullivan left early in Saturday's game as he tweaked his back.  Not word on extent yet.

Kyle Quincey is going under the knife for his injured shoulder and will be out for the year.  Since he has only one assist in 21 games we can't see this really being a big impact to your squad. If you've been hanging onto Quincey, it's time to let go.

Rick DiPietro's knee is minor enough that he'll return sometime this week.  If you're willing to roll the dice on Ricky DP and his 3.68 gaa and .880 sv% you're braver than us.

Speaking of injury prone goalies who could return this week.  Pascal Leclaire's LBI isn't considered serious and he shouldn't miss much action.... until his next injury, that is.
