Jason Spezza was tossed into the boards hard last night and came up with what looked like a shoulder injury... the initial word today is that he could miss up to six weeks.

Dan Cleary took a shot off the ankle and it shattered... so he's out for at least a month.

Tom Gilbert suffered a knee injury last night but it's not considered serious and he's day-to-day.

Mathieu Perreault picked up a broken beak last night, so he won't be breathing right for a little while.

A joint WJC & NHL injury as Jeremy Morin suffered a "significant" injury in the US game last night... the details are a little sketchy right now... tough blow for club & country.

Out of last night's action due to some sort of Turkey Flu was Corey CrawfordRoberto Luongo sat out with something similar and also some jet lag.

The Avs are hoping to have Milan Hejduk back from his groin injury tonight.

Ales Hemsky is probable to return on Tuesday.

Jordan Staal really wants to show the boys his outdoor rink skills, so he's hoping to return for Saturday's Winter Classic.

For those that were hoping to get Zach Parise back soon... um, he's not going to start skating until March, so better stock up on patience.
