For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Evgeni Malkin is sitting out tonight's game due to a LBI... not sure if this is the same (suspected knee) injury that's been bothering him all year or a new one... actually I don't really care, this guy just needs to get himself fixed, asap.

Brandon Dubinsky has a fractured leg and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks of action.

A two week recovery for Mike Cammalleri's separated shoulder may have been optimistic as speculation is that it could be more like a month.

Drew Stafford's groin injury is only expected to keep him out for the next two games.

Matt Taormina has been out since November with an ankle injury and now they are considering surgery, so it doesn't sound like he'll be back anytime soon.

Andy McDonald has missed the past 20 games due to a concussion but he was back on the ice skating yesterday, so that's some progress.

We should see Kyle Okposo's season debut tonight as he's recovered from pre-season shoulder surgery... I know this will be a welcome sight for a lot of us.

Shawn Horcoff is expected to play tonight after missing the past 18 with a knee injury.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Steve Mason, Niklas Backstrom & Kris Versteeg.
