Tanguay leads another list of guys who are out with concussions

For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Marian Hossa left last night's game due to a UBI... no word on the extent yet.

Joni Pitkanen has a LBI and is expected to miss tonight's game but he's just day-to-day.

Not sure when this happened but Alex Tanguay suffered a concussion at some point and so now he's out indefinitely.

Dan Hamhuis left last night's game after getting his head bounced off the glass... he likely has a concussion.

Kyle Cumiskey suffered a concussion in last night's game and that could be bad news as he's missed a bunch of time the past two years with a few of those.

Steve Montador missed Tuesday's game due to... you guessed it... a concussion.

Marcel Goc left last night's game due to a UBI but he's expected to be fine for the Preds next game.

Jonas Gustavsson had another heart issue yesterday and had to leave his AHL game early but apparently it was nothing serious, the doctors said he could return to the game but the team held him out.

Daniel Alfredsson is out indefinitely with a sore back, he says he hopes it's just a few weeks but he has no idea.

Just formalities here... Evgeni Malkin, Kevin Poulin and Chris Drury will all have knee surgery.  Drury is the only one who may return this season but you likely won't notice if he does.

Marco Sturm has missed the last seven games with a sore knee but he's been back practicing and could return shortly.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Ryan Getzlaf, Niklas Hagman, Tomas Holmstrom, Tom Gilbert & Matt Cullen.
