Friday's Injury Updates - Crosby, Kulikov, Malone...

For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Sidney Crosby spoke to the media yesterday and said he hopes/expects to play again this year but really he has no idea so the fact that he's been out a month and hasn't seen much improvement, to me that indicates that he might not be back this year.

Dmitry Kulikov left last night's game with an ankle injury that the team is calling "badly bruised".

Dustin Jeffrey left last night's game early with an undisclosed injury... no details as of yet.

Ryan Malone may have a strained stomach muscle and his coach said that he could be out a while... we'll wait for the official word.

T.J. Galiardi is out indefinitely with a wrist injury... he missed a month earlier this season due to a broken wrist.

Marian Hossa suffered a UBI last game but also has the flu... so both of those make him questionable for tonight's game.

Instead of being out indefinitely due to a concussion, the Flames have switched it up and Alex Tanguay is out indefinitely due to a neck injury... if that makes you feel any better.

Sounds like Tobias Enstrom (finger) should be able to return either tonight or Sunday.

Jonas Hiller (fatigue) is feeling better and may be able to return tonight.

Carlo Colaiacovo is expected to return to the lineup tonight after missing the past seven games due to an eye injury.

Sami Salo (achilles) has returned to Vancouver after his conditioning stint in the AHL (2+0=2 in three games) and he's expected to make his season debut on Saturday.
