For a consolidated list of injuries & current status, see our Injury Updates page.

Kevin Poulin was injured in the warm-up last night and left the arena on crutches... he's due to have an MRI on his knee today.

Chris Kunitz sat out last night's game due to a LBI... he's listed as day-to-day.

Ryan Malone returned last night after missing five games with a mid-body injury but then had to depart in the 2nd period after something gave out on him and he crashed into the net.

Jonas Hiller has been placed on the IR due to extreme fatigue but he did practice yesterday and is eligible to come off IR on Thursday (won't play tonight), so while this is a little concerning, hopefully the rest will do him good.

Valtteri Filppula is day-to-day with a sprained knee and will likely miss at least the next three games.

Keith Ballard is expected to miss 3-4 weeks with a knee sprain... not bad considering it looked much worse.

The Devils updated Marty Brodeur's injury status by saying that he's out day-to-day with no timetable for a return... speculation is that he has a sprained MCL so he could be out a few weeks.

Daniel Alfredsson missed practice yesterday due to an undisclosed injury and so he's questionable for tonight's game.

Marek Zidlicky (shoulder) returned to practice yesterday and is hoping to return to the lineup in about a week or so.

Tomas Holmstrom (hand) is expected to make his return tonight.

Returning to action from the injured list last night:  Jaroslav Halak & Alexander Semin.
