Saturday's Daily Dosage - Thornton, Salak, Couture...

Joe Thornton with 3A last night in an inspired performance to extend his point streak to four games (1+6=7) and move him into the lead league in playoff scoring with 3+14=17 in 16 games.

Dan Boyle with another two points last night and he has the Sharks PP swarming as he has 1+5=6 over his last four games with five of those points coming on the PP.

Patrick Marleau with a non-gutless performance with 2+1=3 and seven shots last night... he now has five goals in his last four games.

The Sharks could really use some help from Dany Heatley as he's faded in the playoffs with just one goal in his last 10 games... brutal season for him.

Kevin Bieksa with another active game with a goal, plus-1 and six PIMs last night to follow up his Gordie Howe Hat-Trick from game #2.  He now has goals in three straight games.

Reports say the Blackhawks have signed RFA goalie Alexander Salak to a two-year, one-way deal... good news if you own him as it would seem like the backup job will be his to lose.  I like the looks of this kid as he's put up good numbers over the past three years in three different leagues including finishing 2nd in the SEL in both gaa (1.97) and sv% (.926) his past season.

Game one of the Memorial Cup went to Saint John last night as they held on to beat Mississauga 4-3... Jonathan Huberdeau with 1+1=2 to lead the way.

Let's slip in the injury news as there's not a lot to discuss...

Christian Ehrhoff left last night's game after taking a bit of a jolt and he didn't return due to a suspected concussion.  Vigneault said afterwards that he could miss game #4.

Uh-oh... Logan Couture left the game after taking some friendly-fire from Ryane Clowe.  That's not what any of us want to see (I'm sure I speak for everyone) as he has a history of concussions from his Junior days but Coach said afterwards that he was fine and he expects him to play in game #4.
