HEADS UP:  I'm not going to say that Michael Hickey has clinched the FHS Playoff Pool but with one game to go and a six point lead, it will take divine intervention to prevent him from taking away the $250.  Btw, Jay's wife is top 30 now while Jay & I are not... awkward.

Brad Marchand with the opening goal of the game and he has a goal in each of the three games in this series at home but nary a point in Vancouver.

Rich Peverley with a nice setup on the Lucic goal and he now has 2+2=4 over his last four games filling in for Horton on the top line.

David Krejci with his 12th goal of the playoffs and he might match his regular season total of 13 goals in a third of the games... don't be trying to draw any conclusions from his string of good fortune as he's converting on an unsustainable 21.8% of his shots in the playoffs.

It hasn't been a stellar playoffs for Mark Recchi but give the old man a break as he's older than... I am.  He has stepped it up in the final with 3A last night and 3+3=6 in six games so far.

Tim Thomas stopped 36 of 38 to improve his record to 10-1 in games where he's faced 35+ shots.  He's only allowed eight goals in the series, good for a .962 sv%.

Perhaps Roberto Luongo should worry less about who is pumping his tires and more about trying to stop anything on the road... he gave up three goals on eight shots and was pulled eight minutes into the game last night.  He'll finish the series with a 8.11 gaa & .773 sv% on the road.

The boxscore will show the Sedin's chipped in three points last night to give them five in the series but do you think it would be possible for them to score when it matters as opposed to garbage time?

The Canucks could really use something or anything from Ryan Kesler, sure he's likely playing pretty banged up, but he's playing and only has 1A to show for the series.

Mason Raymond left last night's game after being taken awkwardly (ass-first) into the boards... he was taken to hospital and I haven't really seen an update on his condition.

Dennis Seidenberg left the game for a short while in the 3rd period but returned later in the game.

There is a god... Pierre McGuire may be leaving TSN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  But just to prove that god has a sick sense of humour, he may return to TSN for special events like the WJCs... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!  [link]
