Saturday's Daily Dosage - Ponikarovsky, A.Larsson, Shannon...

The Dosage is delayed and brief today as I'm in the middle of moving and getting internet hooked up at the new address... not fun... my apologies

Alexei Ponikarovsky is taking advantage of his opportunity to play on the top line with Eric Staal as he scored twice last night.

Rich Peverley & Patrice Bergeron with 1+2=3 each as the Bruins pounded the Islanders 6-3.  Peverley is a nice sleeper pick this year, especially if he lands a regular spot on a line with Bergeron & Marchand.

The Hawks got a pair of goals from Viktor Stalberg and impressive rookie Brandon Saad had 1+1=2... Saad has been turning heads over the past few weeks but I don't see him making the team.

Ilya Kovalchuk with 1+2=3, Jacob Josefson with a goal in 20 minutes of ice-time and Adam Larsson played nearly 25 minutes and recorded two PPA... some interesting developments in New Jersey.

Dany Heatley and Mikko Koivu teamed up on three goals last night, Heatley with 2+1=3 and Koivu with 3A, so they've got some early chemistry.

James van Riemsdyk with another goal and my favourite longshot right now, Matt Read, with 1+1=2 for the Flyers.  Read has shown well so far and is obviously getting a long look as he had almost 23 minutes of ice-time last night.

Ryan Shannon with two goals for Tampa last night, he's trying to win a spot on the Stamkos line, so this certainly can't  hurt.

Two goals on nine shots for Max Pacioretty last night... so he looks to be fully healed from his neck injury.

Evgeny Grachev with his 3rd goal of the preseason for the Blues... I'm not much of a fan but will let the kid enjoy his moment.

Dman Mike Moore with 3A for the Sharks last night but we have no idea where that came from as he's never had more than 22 points in his three AHL seasons so far.
