Ryan Miller owners are thankful he's given up on the reverse butterfly technique.
Ryan Miller owners are thankful he's given up on the reverse butterfly technique.

Corey Crawford owners had their hopes up after he rattled off four straight Ws in the last couple of weeks, but things are not looking so good for the kid again. Yanked after allowing three goals on ten shots, Crawford watched from the bench as Emery took over and stopped 22 of 23 for the come-from-behind win. Crawford sits at a dismal 2.94 GAA and .900 SV% on the year.

Things weren't much better at the other end of the rink. Jonas Gustavsson stopped 30 of 34 and he's a monstrous 0-4-1 in his last five starts.

Joffrey Lupul continues to roll and he had 1+1=2, two PIM and three shots in another losing cause.

After nothing in five straight, Nick Leddy is on a modest two game, three assist streak. He's having a very nice sophomore season with 30 points n 65 games. PP TOI from his last three games: 4:16, 3:10 and 2:04.

Marian Hossa scored his 25th and 26th(en) of the season, and he's on fire again with 6+3=9 in his last nine games.

Game of the night was Penguins vs. Stars, and this one was highly entertaining from start to skills competition. Dallas doesn't get a lot of credit, but they've got a bit of everything: Lehtonen's acrobatics, Souray's point blast, Benn's ability to just take over a game, Ribeiro's slippery weasel (um, what?), Ott's truculence, and just a ton of chemistry everywhere.

Not too much to report fthere from a fantasy standpoint though - Loui Eriksson had the only multi-pointer with his 35th and 36th assists.

Sheldon Souray has his first two game point streak since December 19th, but he's had a very healthy 23 shots in his last nine games. He's missed some time this year, but over 82 games his peripherals prorate to plus-21, 100 PIM and 231 SOG.

Evgeni Malkin had one measly assist, so his owners had to settle for six PIM and six shots. So sorry for you.

Kevin Shattenkirk had a goal and two helpers and he's on a nice roll with 2+6=8 in eight games.

Andy McDonald had a couple of goals and he's on a three game point streak with 2+2=4 and has generally been excellent since his return from vacussion.

Jaroslav Halak netted his 20th win of the year, stopping 22 of 24 shots, but with no shutout it will be Brian Elliott vs. Vancouver tonight. It goes without saying, but if you own one of the STL goalies, you need to do everything in your power to acquire the other one.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored his 15th and he's 2+1=3 with nine SOG in three games since returning from injury.

Ryan Miller had his third shutout of the month, and if you hung on to him, your patience is being rewarded.

Jonas Hiller had his fourth straight game allowing two or less goals, and in 26 games played since January 1, he has fifteen wins with a 1.91 GAA and .926 SV%
