Sunday's Injury Updates - Hall, Backes, Franzen...

We won't be seeing these two together for a while.
We won't be seeing these two together for a while.

Can't believe I missed this yesterday but Taylor Hall took a nasty hit on Friday night and looked pretty bad during the aftermath. The Oilers announced that it is a concussion. I'd imagine that they'd be careful with him and we won't see him for the rest of the season but this is the Oilers we're talking about.

Joe Corvo missed yesterday's game and some are saying he was a healthy scratch. The coach said it's because he's been banged up.

Johan Franzen couldn't go last night as his back hurt him too much.

David Backes suffered a foot injury during last night's game and was forced to leave. He will be reevaluated in a few days.

The update on Andy McDonald is that he will be reevaluated in two weeks so the chances of him returning this season are probably slim.

Returning to action last night: Ryan Callahan, Michael Del Zotto, Pavel Datsyuk, Kris Versteeg, Dmitry Kulikov, Andrej Sekera, Andrei Markov, Kevin Klein, Henrik Lundqvist
