Wednesday's Daily Dosage - Malkin, Neal, Crosby...

New, 17 comments

Holy Jesus... get this line for Evgeni Malkin last night: 2+3=5, GWG, plus-3, four PIMs, seven shots & 11 FOWs. That's a good week for most guys.

Giving Geno a run for fantasy line of the night but amazingly falling short was James Neal with 3+1=4, plus-3 & 10 shots.

Not bad... four assists for Sidney Crosby last night and he has nine points (all assists) & plus-7 in his four games since returning.

Tyler Kennedy converted two lay-ups on feeds from Crosby and has 2+4=6 & 14 shots in four games with Sid. Matt Cooke now has 4+2=6 in his last four as well.

4A for Duncan Keith last night, not that you could have seen it coming as he had just 2A over his last 12 games coming into last night.

Solid road win for Devan Dubnyk as he turned aside 41 of 44 Preds offerings for a win in Nashville. He is 3-0-1, 1.47 & .953 over his last four games.

Ales Hemsky went off for 3+1=4 & plus-4 last night... I guess he was due for this after just two points in his last 10 coming into the game. He has been pretty blah all season.

Matt Stajan kept his resurrection alive with another goal last night, he now has 5+3=8 over his last eight games after just nine points in his first 45 games.

Third straight deuce for Martin Havlat, giving him 4+2=6 over his last three games. I know what you're thinking... where was this at the beginning of the season?

Ondrej Pavelec ran into the Penguins freight train last night and was pulled after allowing five goals. He has been a risky play lately having given up 4+ goals in five of his last 11 games (3.33 & .899) but he has managed five wins during that stretch as well.

Four straight wins for Corey Crawford with a total of just four goals allowed after he stopped 24 of 25 to beat the CBJs.

It's been a pretty epic run for Loui Eriksson as he is leading the Stars to the playoffs with three points last night and 8+10=18 & plus-11 over his last 13 games. Teaming up with Loui again was Michael Ryder and this guy has been a real find for some of you this year with 32 goals (tied for 8th in the league) and 13+8=21 over his last 20 games.

Rick Nash scored last night and that was his first point in his last eight games... that's not the way to boost your trade value and get yourself a ticket out of town.

Should mention a little more of what we've heard about the Alexander Radulov situation as he still has a contract to play in the KHL next season, so there is a decent chance he goes back to the KHL for one more year and then who knows after that. But don't let that sour you on him, grab him if you can in any league as he should help you this year and is worth stashing in a lot of keeper & dynasty leagues to see what transpires.

Sebastien Caron cleared waivers and practiced with Tampa yesterday. They sent Dustin Tokarski down to make room for him. Not sure if they'll throw Caron right into the fire on Thursday or let him get settled.

With the CHL regular season over, some prospects on teams that didn't make the playoffs are headed to the AHL to get some pro experience, guys like Jack Campbell, Matt Puempel & Mark McNeill.
