Jimmy Howard's groin couldn't have picked a worse time to become re-aggravated. The Wings say it's not serious, just a day-to-day thing but this is the fantasy playoffs bro!

No go for Erik Johnson last night due to back spasms... not like you'd miss him as he hasn't recorded a point in his last 12 games.

I kinda assumed that the Oilers would shut Taylor Hall down for the rest of the season due to his concussion but he took the morning skate yesterday, so that's a good sign that he is not feeling too bad.

Just a scare for Zach Parise & his owners as he took a knee-on-knee hit last night but was fine and continued on like it ain't no thang.

James Wisniewski's facial injuries have led to a concussion, so he is out indefinitely.

Curtis Sanford has a torn quad muscle so he will deservedly get the rest of the season off.

Nicklas Lidstrom (ankle) has been practicing and may be able to return on Saturday.

Rich Peverley is getting close to returning after missing the last 17 with a knee injury.

Scratched by the flu bug last night: Jason Spezza & Radim Vrbata.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Pavel Kubina & Sheldon Souray.
