Ilya Bryzgalov was 23/24 in a win over the Habs to run his digits to 9-1-1, 1.06 & .962 over his last 11 games. He hasn't given up more than two goals in any of his last 11... incredible stuff.

Jamie McGinn scored on the PP yesterday and now has 8+4=12 & 44 shots in his last 11 games with the Avs. So four shots/gm with the Avs whereas he was 1.7/gm with the Sharks. The kid has some talent, just needed a stage to display it.

Daniel Alfredsson (booo) had his first goal in 13 games and added another & two assists for a tidy four point night as the Sens feasted on Penguin.

Two goals on two shots for Matt Cooke yesterday and he has seven goals in six games, on a 58% shooting percentage, since he combined forces with Crosby.

Brad Thiessen suffered his first NHL loss and he got his money's worth by giving up eight goals on 28 shots to the Sens.

Assist for Jaromir Jagr last night but was thinking yesterday about how this guy has tailed off lately, just 2+5=7 over his last 16 games after 42 in his first 50 games.

A pair of PPGs for Danny Briere last night and boy did he need this as he came in with just one goal in his previous 29 games.

Wayne Simmonds offensive production has kinda landed in the toilet lately with 0+3=3 over his last 16 games but he threw down 14 PIMs last night to push his total over the 100 PIM barrier in what is a pretty solid season overall.

Kari Lehtonen stopped 35 of 36 for a huge win over Calgary and continued his heroic stretch-drive as he is 12-5-3, 1.91 & .933 over his last 20 games. During that run he has held his opponents to two goals or less in 13 of 20 while he has allowed more than three goals just once... that's nice!

Points in five straight now (2+7=9 & plus-7) for Brian Rolston after an assist last night and despite my best intentions I may have to give in and pick up him up as this is starting to look like more than a coincidence.

It took him a while but Cody Hodgson is finding his groove in Buffalo with another two points on seven shots (and 12 FOWS) last night and he now has 3+3=6 & 19 shots over his last four games.

A PPG which was also a GWG for Marcus Foligno last night to give him 6+4=10 & plus-8 in the eight games since he was recalled on March 10th.

I'm loving this... Gustav Nyquist has assists in three straight games. He has been getting regular shifts with either Datsyuk or Zetterberg lately, so he is auditioning for a bigger role with this team next season.

Two points for Chad LaRose last night and he has been semi-hot with 7+2=9 & 42 shots over his last 11 games.

Alexander Radulov led the Preds forwards in ice-time with 20:29 and picked up an assist in his home debut.

Tim Erixon with assists in back-to-back games but he only played 9:41 so it will be hard to keep this streak going.

Wasn't fully aware of how bad Dany Heatley has been lately with just 1A & minus-5 over his last 10 games. I'm pretty shocked that his production has taken such a dramatic fall over the past two seasons.

AHL up & down: Erik Gustafsson (up), Cody Eakin (down) & Matt Hackett (up).
