Thursday's Daily Dosage - Pacioretty, Cole, Franzen...

Let's give the fantasy line of the night to Max Pacioretty with 2+1=3, plus-4 and three shots. Patches has been quite the revelation this year with 32+31= 63 in 77 games. Throw in 57 PIM and 279 shots and you're looking at the latest and greatest in multi-cat studs.

Speaking of career years, Erik Cole's 34 goals are good for 13th overall in the NHL. Who would have thought? Cole had two more goals last night along with a plus-2 and six shots.

The third wheel on the Patches/Cole express did alright too - David Desharnais finished with two apples and a plus-3, but only one shot, which is kind of his MO this year. Only 95 shots on the year but in a points-only pool, his 60 points in 79 games is pretty sweet, and totally unexpected.

Johan Franzen finally got rolling again with two goals on six shots, and with a plus-2 he's now up to plus-22 on the year. He's about to out together his second consecutive season with 76+ games - not bad for a guy with a bad rep for injuries.

Pavel Datsyuk and Todd Bertuzzi had the assists on both of Mule's goals. That line has really clicked this year, but Datsyuk has more assists than Bert has points, so I don't have to tell you what's what there.

Jimmy Howard got the skills comp win and he's up to 35 wins in only 55 games. He won't get past his career high of 37 wins, which he's done the last two years running.
