The reports are that Lubomir Visnovsky will, in fact, report to the Islanders once his son has surgery. If he's available in your pool, you might want to look into picking him up sooner rather than later.

Danny Briere his scheduled to have an x-ray done on his wrist on Thursday. This will help determine if he can get into a game this weekend or if it will be later. We'll have more on this in the coming days.

The Flames are expecting both Roman Cervenka (blood clot) and Jiri Hudler (death in the family) back on Saturday so that is good news for you deep leaguers.

Steve Downie was injured during the Avalanche - Kings game last night. He left the game and did not return. Reports are that it's a knee injury. He will be reevaluated today.

Paul Gaustad missed last night's Predators game with an upper body injury. He's listed as day to day and should only miss one more game at most.

Kurtis Foster missed last night's game due to soreness. Seriously? You're not a hockey player.

Brooks Laich (groin) was supposed to practice today but wasn't able to, so we're likely dealing with somewhat of a setback.
