Saturday's Injury Updates - Faulk, Jagr, Latendresse...

The fantasized injury news on a Saturday morning

Tom Szczerbowski-US PRESSWIRE

Not many details here but Justin Faulk left last night's game early with a UBI. We'll let you know more when we hear it.

Jaromir Jagr has a sore back & hip... not a winning combo. There is a chance that he can play though it but dude is 40 so perhaps caution is advisable here.

Uh-oh... Guillaume Latendresse missed last night's game with and undisclosed injury. He's listed as day-to-day but this guy's day-to-day can turn into month-to-month in a heartbeat, so look out.

Lots of injury news from the Flyers as Scott Hartnell is out 4-6 weeks due to a broken foot and Andrej Meszaros is out for a month with a shoulder injury. But they do get some better news as Danny Briere (wrist) should make his season debut this weekend.

Good news first for Phoenix as Mike Smith (LBI) is just day-to-day whereas Matthew Lombardi could miss significant time with a UBI as he's out indefinitely.

Adam Henrique (thumb) practiced with the Devils on Friday and looks likely to return sometime next week.

Returning to action from the injured list last night: Dennis Seidenberg, Darren Helm & Todd Bertuzzi.
